How to remove a broken screw?
Causes and pretreatment of broken wires
1. Corrosion and stuck: Water vapor and acidic substances in the production environment can easily cause oxidation and rust of the thread, and the volume expansion causes the screw and the screw hole to be "welded". At this time, if you force it to turn, the screw head is easy to break.
2. Vibration loosening and secondary damage: Continuous vibration during equipment operation may cause screw pre-tightening force
Key steps for pretreatment
Power off and cooling: Be sure to cut off the power before operation and wait for the equipment to cool to room temperature to avoid burns or trigger secondary faults.
Cleaning the broken end: Use a wire brush to remove dust and rust around the broken wire to reduce interference from impurities
Solutions to broken wires
1. Find a nut and put it on the broken screw and then use electric welding to hold it (welding work is carried out on the side with threads). After welding, you can use wrenches and other tools to remove the broken wire.
2. If the port is flush with the main shaft, you can also do this. Note that when welding, the welding point cannot be in contact with the part other than the screw. If it is too low, you need to weld an iron rod or steel bar first to extend the screw and then weld the nut.
